Chinna (Vishnu) is a very witty and resourceful person who knows how to get things done. As kids, Chinna and Piccheshwar (Vennela Kishore) have a tiff and Piccheshwar leaves the village in a huff. Piccheshwar’s outraged grandfather (Kota Srinivasa Rao) orders the execution of Chinna’s family, forcing them to flee as well. As the years go by, Chinna grows into a tall and fearless young fellow. He applies for a job as a journalist and he is sent on an assignment by his boss Avatar (Posani). The assignment is to conduct a sting operation on Minister Dilleeswara Rao (Pankaj Tripathi). Chinna succeeds in capturing incriminating footage, but he is caught and thrashed by the minister’s goons.
Uday (Siddharth), is a rich kid who becomes chairman of a company following the death of his father. He believes in the adage of life is short and carpe diem. At New Year's Party 2007, he spies on a girl called Sandhya (Shamili) in a salwar-kameez, writing a diary at the pub. Through a series of searches with his friend "Fatso" (Krishnudu), he ends up discovering that Sandhya lives alone at a beach side house and runs a nursery. She is very traditional with her own ideals. He enters in her house on a pretense as a Paying Guest to make her fall in love with him. After a series of attempts to woo Sandhya, Uday eventually succeeds and presents her with 12 gifts on her birthday, the last being Uday himself.

This presents a tension between them, leading to a confrontation. Meanwhile, Aditya unintentionally murders a goon while saving a girl from getting raped. Aditya's father disowns him as his son and Aditya surrenders at a police station. The rest of the film is how Aditya wins the heart of his father with the law degree he earns.
The film starts with the story of the younger Bala Krishna (Srimannarayana) working as a college professor.
