Il y a 15 ans, Hadlar, le Roi du Mal, qui terrorisait le monde avec ses hordes de monstres, a été vaincu par un grand héros. Daï est alors formé aux techniques de combat par maître Avan, en vue de défaire le Mal… Mais alors que son entraînement est à peine entamé, Avan se sacrifie pour sauver ses disciples de Hadlar, le Roi du Mal. C’est alors que commence la quête de Daï, aidé par ses amis, Pop, Maam, et d’autres… pour venger la mémoire de son maître en arrêtant définitivement le Mal.

Manato, Haruhiro, Yume, Moguzo, Shihoru et Ranta décident de rester groupés et d'évoluer à leur rythme. Mais ce monde leur réserve bien des surprises, bonnes comme mauvaises.
